EEEK! My very own wedding invitation suite was voted Best Stationery in the Junebug Weddings Choice Awards 2016! You can view all the winner in their Choice Awards e-magazine through Issu: http://junebugweddings.com/choice-awards/2016
Our navy & gold invitation suite was a mix of styles give guests a sneak peak of our wedding day – formal and elegant for our Greek Orthodox Cathedral ceremony with hints of hand drawn botanical and rustic elements for our Barn Reception.
Our actual invitations were gold & blind letterpress on navy paper with a mix of my hand lettering and illustration with a modern sans serif typeface. The other pieces incorporated the same leafy illustrations and hand lettering on a variety of papers (positive proof that you can mix and match!)
One of my favorite details was our belly band and gold wax seal combination! We used a translucent paper belly band, as to not distract from the rest of the design, paired with gold and white bakers twine. The wax seals were a custom design of our monogram initials.
If you like this navy and gold invitation suite, check out the signage and decor from my wedding and some of my favorite (non-design related) photos from our big day!

Hi Meagan! I was wondering if you could provide me with more directions on how you created your belly band and hid all of the seams!? Thank you
Hi Kara! The seam is simply on the back 😉
