Mural Painting
I’ve taken my signature signage aesthetic and am moving on to even bigger canvases – murals! Whether in an office, a cafe, or a playroom; murals can transform and add a touch of *whimsy* to any space – changing the way we engage with that environment. Murals can grab attention, create an emotional connection, or encourage social engagement (on or offline). I utilize my years of experience with illustration, hand lettering, and marketing to design murals that are custom tailored to each client and 100% original. I never use clip art or computer fonts in my work; everything is hand-drawn for a truly one of a kind piece of artwork in your space. Pricing Structure
My mural pricing is based on a variety of factors including square footage, location, and design complexity. Additional factors may need to be considered such as special equipment needs, travel, and artwork licensing. Design & supplies pricing starts at $30 per hour with a $1000 project minimum. Please reach out about your project needs for an accurate estimate.
Custom Process
Step 1: Design Consult
We will meet to discuss design vision, size, placement.
Step 2: Proposal, Contract, + Deposit
I will submit a proposal with some inspiration images for you to approve along with the final price for your design. Pricing is determined by square footage, location, and design complexity. I will need to collect a signed contract with a 50% deposit to get started on the design and purchase necessary supplies.
Step 3: Design Review
This step is to ensure we are on the same page with the design direction. I will provide a mood board confirming overall aesthetic, colors, and theming for you to approve before sketching the actual mural designs.
Step 4: Mural Mock Ups & Approval
I will illustrate 2-3 initial design concepts for you to choose from. We can revise and refine your chosen concept until you are ready to move forward. I include 3 rounds of revisions in my pricing, additional revisions may require additional fees.
Step 5: Site Prep
I require one day (or night if the mural is outdoors or in a brightly lit space) to prepare the mural wall by outlining the design for painting.
Step 6: Painting
Exact dates and timeline will be discussed before we dive in but typically I need 5-10 days per mural for painting.
Step 7: Clean Up & Photography
One final day for any necessary touch ups, cleaning up the space, and taking photos of the finished mural for my portfolio.
