Soft watercolor washes, delicate calligraphy, organic gold foil, and …Legos? You better believe it! Katie & Ben’s wedding day was elegant and organic with just the right amount of eclectic, quirky touches. We designed their day-of stationery pieces from welcome bag information inserts and ceremony programs to tablescape design elements such as table numbers and menus.
All of their paper pieces featured a muted color palette of watercolor washes for a fun, colorful pop without being too loud. Their table numbers paired this soft wash with organically placed gold foil and matching gold calligraphy for a table accent that was both elegant and effortless.
My favorite piece from Katie & Ben’s big day, however, was hands down their LEGO escort card display! Abbey from Purple Summer Events dreamed up this wonderful idea that creatively incorporated the Groom’s love of Legos with the overall soft, organic design of Katie & Ben’s big day. White Legos pinned their calligraphy escort cards in place to create a lovely, colorful pattern.
