For this inspiration shoot, our talented team of Colorado vendors aimed to bring a little bit of Mediterranean coastal flavor to our beloved mountain weddings. A rich palette of deep blues echoing the Aegean were the perfect compliment to the cream sands of the Great Sand Dunes National park with the dusty blue Rocky Mountain peaks in the distance.
This beach style picnic, inspired by the alfresco dining so common in the Mediterranean included an abundant cheeseboard with light summer fruits and a crisp white wine. This styling was complimented by softly colored sea-glass vases adorned with romantic song lyrics in delicate calligraphy. These vases, along with shard of sea-glass also daintily painted with Greek inspired patterns, were like a found treasure among the sand dunes, reminiscent of timeless artifacts.
To complete this inspiration, a stationery suite was designed with a radiating, hand-painted mandala pattern, mimicked by the vibrant beach towel layered into the picnic setting, and lively watercolor lettering in those dreamy sea-glass tones.
The Bride wore an ethereal, beautifully draped dress with delicate beading almost reminiscent of seashells. As the sun set on the sand dunes, that warm glow of summer completed our color palette and truly brought that Mediterranean coastal ambiance to the mountains!
