1. Christie & Brigdon’s Elegant but Playful Suite
photo by Callie Hobbs Photography // Planning by Sara Brown Weddings
2016 was the year of the watercolor crests for Whimsy! One of the first ones I did was this elegant and cheery wedding crest for Christie and Brigdon! In addition the crest, we painted watercolor garlands and mountains to their invitation suite as well as doing all the lettering by hand for a truly one of a kind piece of artwork! One photo can’t be enough! Check out more of these paper details (& signage) on my Colorful & Bright Mountain Wedding Blog Post.
2. Boho Inspiration Shoot’s Dark & Moody Suite

My boho dreams came true with this dark and moody invitation suite (and entire photo shoot)! These fun paper goods illustrate that invitations can be wildly different while still being beautiful and formal enough for a wedding. See more of this suite and the other delicious details from my Boho Wedding Inspiration Shoot Blog Post.
3. Caity & Nate’s Colorful Rustic Suite

Caity and Nate were a dream to work with! In addition to the watercolor monogram and floral garland with antler accents, my favorite piece was definitely their map! This particular map really showed off the western Colorado mountains – spanning their favorite ski spots, engagement location, and their wedding venue to truly illustrate (pun intended) their love story! You can view more of this swoon-worthy wedding on the photographer, Lisa Anne’s Blog – my own blog post coming soon!
4. Dana & Jordan’s Clean Greenery Suite
Photo by Callie Hobbs Photography // Planning by We Tie the Knots
Dana & Jordan wanted something artistic but not too colorful or floral. For their invitation suite I painted their names in a calligraphy inspired lettering and branched the flourishes out with a green, leafy design. The end result was artsy while still being clean and modern. I’ll be blogging more details from this wedding soon, so be on the lookout for more greenery, marble, and hand lettering!
5. Kelsey & Alex’s Soft Watercolor Suite

Another beautiful crest I LOVED painting! This suite incorporated more floral watercolor painting with additional soft touches like a grey painted border and elegant silk ribbon to tie it all together. This is another invitation suite I’ve yet to blog but can’t wait to share. Stay tuned for more watercolor goodness!
