Dana and Jordan were married last year with an inspired reception at Blanc Denver! The affair was masterfully planned by Cammye of We Tie the Knots with an overall clean palette accented with pops of vibrant burgundy, peaches, and greenery. We were honored to design many of their wedding details – from save the dates and custom wedding invitations to signage, menus, and place cards for this urban wedding!

Dana & Jordan’s Wedding Style
This modern couple’s style was generally very clean and modern. They wanted fun touches throughout their big day to break somewhat with tradition while sill maintaining a balance of elegance.
Custom Invitation Design Process
We started with Dana & Jordan’s save the dates – a clean design with a leafy green painted ampersand as the focal point and fun hand lettering for their names. We carried this theme into their invitation suite, illustrating their names in an organic, interwoven vine of greenery while leaving the rest of the invitation simple and modern. My favorite piece from their invitation suite was arguably their start white custom wax seal – such a beautiful, clean and modern touch to tie it all together.

Wedding Day-of Designs
The day of their wedding we did an on-site calligraphy seating chart on the entry doors to their reception at Blanc Denver. Guests could find their names and their table numbers accordingly. We also created a welcome and bar sign on modern acrylic in white frames. The welcome sign even mimicked their save the date design with a large leafy ampersand!

Whimsy’s Favorite Detail
Without a doubt our favorite detail(s) were all of the marble piece adorned with our hand lettering! We did place cards, table numbers and a couple of smaller sign pieces for this urban wedding. The marble was such a clean and modern choice, complimenting the urban setting and juxtaposing the bright pops of color perfectly!
Kind Words from the Bride: “Meagan was such a delight to work with!! Not only did she totally get the concept I was going for, but she added some ideas of her own that were completely amazing — seriously, if there is ever a time to have someone paint a watercolor of you and your fiancé’s names intertwined in a beautiful garland design, your wedding is it!! We also had her to some on-site calligraphy, and she knocked it out of the park. Everyone was raving about how beautiful all of the signage was, and loved taking home their marble tiles with their names on them. I can tell Meagan truly enjoys and cares about what she’s doing; not only does that translate into the final product, but her positive energy during every meeting (and especially during set-up, which was definitely a long process) was such a great balance to the stress that is wedding planning. Along with her flexibility and creative ideas, I would absolutely recommend Meagan to anyone looking for amazing custom invites and signage!”
